Julie Peoples-Clark (she/her)

January 10 Morning Instructor

Julie Peoples-Clark, creator and guide to discovering your Soul Stories, is originally from Baltimore, MD. She has been a go-go dancer in a cage in a night club, a showgirl in Atlantic City, a backup dancer for Richard Marx, a magician’s assistant, a teeny bopper in 2 John Waters’ films, a professional modern dancer and a tap dancing book on television. Julie created Soul Stories as she embarked on her path of healing from severe post traumatic stress and brain surgery. She is on the dance faculty at University of Vermont teaching somatics, movement analysis, contemporary dance, musical theatre, ballet and tap. She proudly created a dance program for UVM's Liberal Arts in Prisons Program and is the current co-director of the program. She holds a BFA in visual and performing arts, over 2000 hours of yoga training certifications, 200 hours in Foundations of Ayurveda and is a certified classical Pilates instructor. She has studied dance and movement analysis with the Laban/Bartinieff Institute and Bonnie Bainbridge Cohen. Most importantly, she is mother to an angel, Ella the Great, and an active boy Emanuel Blessing.
