Melissa Manrique (she/her)

Melissa Manrique is a multidisciplinary artist who is a BFA Graduate of the Acting Program at the University of Central Florida. Previous theatre credits include Committed (Dr.), The Grumpiest Boy in the World (Giant/Bird) and Much Ado About Nothing (Ursula). She also directs. Previous directing credits include Apocalypseville!, Meat-Cute, T-19EC, and Of Hawks and Sparrows. Melissa has been on the road for the past two years – either teaching kids about dinosaurs at Jurassic Quest, connecting with the trees in the new musical, “Tell Me How You Breathe,” (Loom Ensemble), or teaching kids theatre at The Rev in Auburn, New York. Virtually, Melissa is an admin assistant for the dance company, ANIMAL Dance – thankful to still have roots in beautiful Vermont. She has just finished a contract as a Cruise Staff on Royal Caribbean cruises (Harmony of the Seas, Utopia of the Seas). For the future, Melissa plans to continue her adventurous style by finding a way to travel the world with her sweetheart. She dedicates all that she does to her father, Luis Fernando Manrique.
