COVID-19 SAFETY

INSTINCT fest will follow all State and CDC current guidelines during the festival. We highly encourage testing prior to arrival at any of our events. Masking is optional. Please do not attend events if you are feeling sick of any kind, or showing any COVID or flu like symptoms. 

WISH TO PERFORM IN THE FRIDAY OPEN FLOOR SHOWCASE?

On Friday January 12th, members of the INSTINCT Festival community are invited to come share excerpts of performance art!  There is no facilitated feedback session following this performance. All performers must be available to tech on Friday January 12th from 4:15-5:45pm. 

Sign up will be available at the INSTINCT Box Office table, in the Lobby of Main Street Landing, between Monday and Thursday January 8-11th. Priority will be given to those who are participating in the festival activities. Space is limited to 8 artists/groups.

INSTINCT is not able to support organizing housing this year, but we have created a Facebook page for such requests to be communicated across the group! Feel free to post to our community!

All payments to the Instinct Dance Festival are Non-Refundable.

SCHOLARSHIP/ WORK EXCHANGE

Thank you to those that applied and are scheduled to be a part of our Work Exchange and Scholarship programs! Please note the Work Exchange application process is now closed & our Scholarship program is at capacity.

AGES/ WHO APPROPRIATE FOR

If interested in participating in movement sessions, please read each workshop description to determine if it is appropriate for you.

 
ACCESSIBILITY

 

Main Street Landing Performing Arts Center is fully ADA compliant with large corridors, elevators and restrooms designed for accessibility. There is currently only one ramp on the sidewalk in front of the building and that is at the corner of College and Lake Street. We have elevator access only to our spaces and restrooms. We have accessible bathrooms on both levels. There are no listening systems or audio description in the Black Box.

WHERE DO I PARK?

 

Street parking is available on Lake Street, College Street and Main Street using the ParkMobile app.

There is a pay for parking lot on lower lake/college, opposite the backside of Burlington Bay Cafe, as well as a City parking Garage on College Street (See the Star/P symbols on the map to the left).

Please give yourself an extra 15 minutes to park and walk in to Main Street Landing Performing Arts Center, to be sure you start your event on time. 

 
WHERE DO I ENTER?

 

Enter via the Atrium at Main St Landing Performing Arts Center (Lake & College Building, 60 Lake St, Burlington, VT 05401). 

The Atrium can be accessed through the courtyard at the corner of Battery St and College St on the sidewalk side that is closer to the lake. There is an accessibility ramp to the right of the Atrium entrance. The Atrium can also be accessed via 60 Lake Street, suite 3B. Enter via the Lake Street doors just past Skinny Pancake, take the elevator to the 3rd floor. Once off the elevator take a left then a right, walk all the way down the hall passing under a big beautiful mural.
